The Walks

At Recovery Untamed, we embrace the ancient practice of Forest Therapy, a journey that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit through intentional time in nature. Rooted in the understanding that healing is a continual process, our approach to Forest Therapy has no set destination or finite goal. Each walk is unique, guided by your personal needs and the rhythm of the natural world around you.


Our sessions create space for you to listen deeply to nature’s wisdom, allowing the forest to become a companion in your healing process. This practice fosters a relationship of reciprocity between you and the land—a connection that evolves over time. With each step, you open yourself to the healing energy of the forest, allowing it to guide you toward a sense of wholeness and well-being.


Forest Therapy is more than a one-time experience; it’s a routine practice that can be woven into daily life. As you commit to this journey, the forest becomes a living partner in your personal growth, offering new insights and experiences with each walk. Through this intimate connection, we help you cultivate a deep, meaningful bond with nature, leading to profound inner balance and harmony.

Group Forest Therapy Walks

Takes place in a group setting where:

  • a series of guided invitations are offered to assist you in finding your authentic way of interacting with the forest
  • engage in the practice of remembering to slow down and practice being. 
  • spend intentional time, unrushed and void of urgency, awakening our senses and therefore resting our minds. 
  • allow your body to lead as you’re guided to tap into your senses and connect with nature.
  •  unlock the healing components of the natural environment.

Individual & Family Forest Therapy Walks

  • private sessions for an individual, couple, or family.
  • embody the core practices of a general Forest Therapy Session with a customized component to address your personal goals.

ELM Recovery Program

While both Recovery Untamed and Elm focus on holistic approaches to healing, their methods differ in key areas:

  • Recovery Untamed combines Recovery Coaching with Forest Therapy to help individuals restore balance in their lives and reconnect with nature.
  • Elm, on the other hand, expands this approach by incorporating NeuroSomatic Integration (NSI) tools alongside Recovery Coaching and IASIS, a microcurrent neurofeedback technology designed to calm the nervous system. IASIS is particularly effective for addressing issues related to anxiety, stress, and other nervous system imbalances.

Both programs aim to provide deep healing, but Elm’s use of IASIS offers an additional layer of nervous system support for clients seeking a more targeted approach to calming their minds and bodies.

**While both recovery coaches and therapists support internal growth, a recovery coach focuses on the present—helping clients identify goals and actionable steps to achieve them, rather than analyzing past events. As a coach, I do not diagnose or treat addiction or mental health conditions. Instead, my role is to help you clarify your dreams, set meaningful objectives, and take daily steps toward the life you desire. I’m here to support you as you navigate obstacles and press into better decision-making practices. With a coach, you don’t have to struggle alone—you gain a partner in your journey forward.
